i attended a polterabend the other day. this is the night before a wedding where some tradition obviously demands a lot of porcelain to be broken to drive out evil spirits and a lot of less evil spirits to be drunk. it was a very interesting location and a great party. it was also one of the rare occasions that i tried to use a flash. i think i have to try a bit harder… that’s what i found outside the actual dancing and drinking area.
