berlin, prenzlauer berg, 2016
i found this great piece in duisburg this week. it’s made from ripped up paper! i really liked it a lot.
an old one (picture and gumball machine wise) from vienna (2013)
taken with the sony a99 and the sony 50mm f1.4 that i had at my disposal for two weeks back then.
two walls, one window from elizabeth castle, st. helier, jersey.
this is the first one of probably a few to come from my last week’s trip to the ruhrgebiet. i managed to visit duisburg, essen, mülheim and oberhausen. this picture is from oberhausen. after failing to parallelize the lines i took drastic measures.
today is the 25th anniversary of the fall of the berlin wall. this picture was made a few weeks ago at the former grenzübergang checkpoint charlie in friedrichstrasse then forming the border between the (eastern) mitte and (western) kreuzberg.
graphically quite pleasing, otherwise quite unsettling – the berlin wall.
this view can be found at the berlin wall memorial at bernauer straße.
another one from my first outing with the gm1.
this time there is no lamp but this will get into the lamp post series as well… (because there was one, i promise ;))
whether they made it i don’t know.
i liked the light a lot and the colours helped of course.
