I searched for the inventor of German shorthand and found articles mostly about Heinrich Roller. However, the picture of his tombstone at
doesn’t match the one in your photograph. Does yours show an additional monument to Roller, or is it for a different person?
It’s a different person indeed. He is mentioned in the tags, his name is Heinrich August Wilhelm Stolze an this is the backside of the tombstone.

Stolze must have been proud of his shorthand.
