berlin street art

the third installment in this very loose series of longer posts on street art in berlin. but one literally cannot pass a street in berlin without seeing something that could be called art. this is a collection of stuff that i like and everything shown here is within a friendly 10 minute walking distance from home.

if you are interested in who the artists are – i’m sorry, i can’t help you there. some stuff is obviously by soon (already featured here and here), artikel and robi the dog but i don’t know the other artists by name. maybe andBerlin can jump to the rescue again ;)

on a more technical note: the pictures that don’t have full featured exif data (in case you should even bother) have been shot with the om zuiko 100mm lens.

  1. What great set of shots. I think the face chiselled out of the brick is by Portugese artist who works under the name Vhils aka Alexanre Farto – Just put his name into a search engine and take a look at his brilliant street work all around the globe. I’ve yet to see one of his in the flesh! I love the photo of the guy montoring the toxic pipes – Genius! Thanks for sharing these :-)

  2. @Little bits of Sheffield is right about Vhils and the piece he mentions with the radiation suit is KEN. The little girl picking up flowers is by kurznachzehn and the first photo is ALIAS. A great selection of Berlin Street Art.
